wahhh, okay, so i hate doing this, but we’ve noticed that there have been some inactive members / characters, and we would just like to see who’s still in, i guess. c: SO. you have one week to reply or reblog this, or leave an ask in our inbox, and just tell us if you’re a) still with us, and b) if there are any characters you’d like to delete. it’d be gr8 that if you know anyone who would like to still be part of the rp, but is busy and/or on vacation, that you tell them this activity check is going on so that their character doesn’t get taken off the canon list without their knowledge and etc.

anyways charlie is really charlize but shhhh we don’t talk about that!!! she is seventeen and the bastard child of a crazy woman who thinks she’s still a teenager & pretty much sux and also one of those asshole lions who you kind of want to punch in the face sometimes but you CAN’T because really she is a “”sweetheart”” most of the time except her idea of being loving is calling people puddin’ ass and telling them they look exceptionally miserable today

but she does it because she CARES tbqh she cares about everything too much. she feeeeeeeels too much and more intensely than most people. she either feels really really sad or really really happy!!! or she feels too many things at once and gets all confused. basically, she’s just a bundle of FEELS about everything ever but she likes it that way. she likes things that make her feel anything, really. ugly bands playin’ hard and sad foreign films and pretty paintings, those kinds of things.
going along with the bundle of feels, charlie is really just a mess overall. she’s kind of unintentionally hilarious in the respect that she is not very good at social cues and what’s acceptable to say/do?????? also she doesn’t really care??? she comes off as a bitch a lot of the time?? i guess because she can be cynical and not really realize when things are serious/not care so. i’m tryin’ not to ramble but it’s not working soo00oo i think i’ll just continue on this road to failure ok oK??????

also she has a hairless cat named jomo who is the creepiest thing on earth and this is relevant always and also she likes to paint things ok
before i ramble too horribly though i’m pretty sure that’s already happened whoops i should just say that charlie is messy and erratic and too loving in her own way and v. v. emotional and says a lot of weird things and is a bit vacant/dreamy and she laughs A LOT/is mad A LOT/is sad A LOT and is just enamored with living, even the horrible aspects of it, and is really frivolous and moody and is infected with wanderlust and is a hooligan and pretty useless overall pretty much a potato in terms of success at life

“How am I supposed to know? You aren’t having one of those— existential crisis or whatever?” She laughs, mesmerized. Entranced, or whatever. Those bull-cock-shit poetic things that she hates. Gone dizzy and gone with her toes turned to electric things burning bullet holes through clumsy boots. This is what it feels like to be on the edge of something, she’s thinking. You might plummet to your death or take a step back; nothing may happen at all but her whole body is on the edge of something. She’s really not thinking at all.

Running in circles.

Charlie is flicking her sight over him with that same sort of ravenous curiosity. There’s no use studying it, really. She knows him, his face; the smoking gun eyes and the smile that tugs up her own eyebrow and her breath short. That wonderful horrible sort of feeling like her feet have fallen asleep and thousands of little electric bulbs are pricking her but all over her body, all over her lips. Something torn and loose half-heartedly beating out of sync in her chest. Like she’s weightless, almost. The night and alcohol drowning her brain have already flown the pieces of her away; she is just a painting of a girl with smeared black eyes and trembling hands.

“It’s a gift.” Her mouth twists into an horrible smile.

She wants so many things, in this moment. All those ugly selfish things that rattle around in her hollow chest, throwing spikes into her heart. For her words to be sweetter, wittier. To kiss the stupid smile from his face, to run her thumb over the calluses on his fingers, to want nothing but here and now but she calls for more, more, more. Running in circles looking for something, anything. She is so dizzy with want and stupidity and hunger burning up her skin. Choking a grin down her throat helplessly, choking on all of this useless want.

Dizzy with frustration and youth and anger, like teenagers on the silver screen. All cliche and pretty lies. She crushes the tip of her tongue between her teeth, faintly tasting smoke, and runs it over a canine tooth subconsciously, pricking it. Sleeping Beauty raised from the dead. Corpse with a grin. The smile has been replaced with a sort of trembling lipped stare, breaths that feel heavy and hard in her throat. She bites her lip and studies his eyes that look like marks of charcoal in the light. Her own are searching, wide and feral. Runs her bottom lip against her teeth, half of her mouth smiling and the other half desperately resisting - its a fruitless sort of game. And she falls for it, falls hard. “I’ll take it,” she playfully bats back in a voice a bit breathless. Crosses her arms, eyebrows quirking with all of the mischievousness she can muster. “Then what?”

”Hm…I don’t know. I’ve seen some pretty good razzers in my time.” Inquisitive eyes, smoke from a passerby’s cigarette curling tendrils around the back of her neck. Red lips and bone white smile stretched to the point of breaking — that’s what she feels. Feels like all this thorny light and sound and color refracting off her skin would shatter her into a million pieces, if not for this stupid corner and this stupid teenage boy with his eyes skirting her own and his breath blowing warm rhythms across her face.

Her whole head’s spinning — like a doozy, like one time I went to the cinema and I saw this man on the silver screen say he was in a doozy, and that’s what she feels like. But it’s all just so silly, just so silly standing here with knees knocking clumsily together, heady blood rushing to skin. It’s all so silly that Charlie could scream, howl to the night. But she doesn’t — she doesn’t howl, doesn’t do anything at all but shift her weight from foot to foot and shakily grin like that; stupid. Fingers on his shoulder involuntarily tap-tap-tapping something, something destructive, (lingers for a beat) and then she slides her hand down and off, back to tracing light swirls on her own arm because —— stupid.

She shakes her head softly, lip between bone smile, half-laughing with vacant eyes sliding to the ceiling and back. Crazy, she thinks. Everything is just so fucking crazy. But it feels good, almost. More than good. She can feel the craziness pooling in her toes and it feels really good with the room dancing all around her and that stupid smile. A laugh finds its way from her half open mouth, as she raises her eyebrows and sets lemon lips into a serious line, shaking head. ”You don’t understand, James Potter. I’m serious. I’m so serious. I’ve been waiting for this day my entire life.” Syllables slow and deliberate, wide eyes fighting a smile with exaggerated deep breath. “I’m ready.”
